There is something about the summer that just makes me want to listen to country music 24/7. I feel like country songs are the epitome of summertime….sand, sun, cold beer, taking things slower, keeping things simple. I have been so busy with work this summer that I didn’t even feel like it was summer time at all…but a couple days at the beach turned that around for me. The drive there along Maryland’s eastern shore farm land was idyllic with a perfect country playlist and the countryside dotted with corn fields, produce stands, and antique shops. It was definitely nice to get out of the city for a couple days.
As I was driving through this perfect setting to the sounds of Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, and Jason Aldean, I of course started planning my ideal country wedding. I *love* barn weddings and I am absolutely DYING to do a country wedding, complete with a country cover band or bluegrass banjo player.
