Wedding Inspiration: Hippie Glam

I saw this GORGEOUS bride on Pinterest, courtesy of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Blog (If you aren’t familiar with this blog….you need to be. NOW.)

My friend/former roommate Eduarda got engaged 2 weeks ago to the most amazing man…the second I met him I just *knew* that they were soul mates and would be spending the rest of their lives together. They are such a fabulous couple and I love them to death. When I saw this picture of this bride, I instantly thought of Ed, and as usual, I started getting inspired and planning a wedding around this dress…because this dress, and this look, is one that is so fabulous that the *entire* wedding must be designed around it.

I picture something clean and natural, pops of bright colors, a touch of glam, and a little Moroccan inspired.

How perfect is this altar for the ceremony? Except I would  swap out the bling chandeliers for moroccan lanterns, and tone down the flowers by about a third.

THESE moroccan lanterns would be PERFECT for the ceremony!

This parachute ceiling NEEDS to happen. I have been obsessing over this picture for months now, and this ceiling does that dress justice…if your venue is indoors it would be perfect…or you can just do a Sperry tent with lighting for an outdoor reception.

I’m kind of loving this boho-glam paisley dress for bridesmaids!

And if subtle is more your style…this gauzy, airy dress is bridesmaid perfection!

Love this linen! This would be so glam…and love the orange tones of the flowers, however I’m not crazy about those centerpieces for this imagined wedding

I love this cake however for this particular wedding I would like to see metallic gold in there, and some warm peach/coral…and I think the middle tier would be fab with metallic gold chevron….like the middle tier on the cake below!

I feel like an elephant is integral to this wedding design. Would be the PERFECT finishing touch. Funny thing is I thought of that…and then remembered how much Eduarda loves elephants!

I could honestly go on forever with the ideas this dress has inspired….but I won’t! What other style of wedding does this dress inspire?
